Together with the International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD), the Ukrainian Climate Office, under the Capacities for Climate Action (C4CA) project, is organizing an event focused on the critical topic of sustainability in Ukraine’s recovery and reconstruction.

The event will explore coordinated recovery strategies, the essential role of the building and housing sectors in reconstruction, and the financial aspects vital for a sustainable recovery. Key objectives include presenting findings and recommendations from recent analyses of Ukraine’s green recovery plans, highlighting sustainability frameworks and approaches in the building sector, and discussing practical criteria for their implementation. Additionally, the event will delve into ensuring that sustainability is a core component and catalyst for mobilizing finance within Ukraine’s reconstruction efforts.
