Ukrainian Climate Office established partnership with the Federation of Employers of Ukraine

Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between Ukrainian Climate Office and the Federation of Employers of Ukraine. This partnership is a big step forward in the mission to tackle climate change and promote sustainable development across Ukraine.

More businesses in Ukraine realize the importance of cooperation in the field of climate policy and benefits such cooperation can bring both to companies and the country. This understanding resulted in Memorandum of Cooperation, which was signed between Ukrainian Climate Office and the Federation of Employers of Ukraine. This partnership is a big step forward in the mission to tackle climate change and promote sustainable development across Ukraine.

Our cooperation will focus on:

  • Supporting State Climate Policy: we will collaborate on initiatives that align with national and European climate goals.
  • Educational Initiatives: we will jointly organise events, conferences, seminars, and trainings to enhance business awareness of climate change issues.
  • Research and Analysis: we will conduct joint studies to explore climate change and environmental solutions.
  • Policy Development:we will work on joint recommendations for public authorities on climate policy.
  • Information Exchange: we will be sharing information to effectively implement joint projects, focusing on CBAM and its implications for Ukraine.

The Ukrainian Climate Office is being established within the framework of the project “Capacities for Climate Action” (C4CA). C4CA is commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action under the International Climate Initiative and co-funded by the EU, implemented by GIZ.
