The central executive body which implements state policy in the field of efficient use of fuel and energy resources, energy saving, renewable energy sources and alternative fuels.

SAEE activities are directed and coordinated by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine through the MinRecovery.
Main mission is to implement state policy in the field of efficient use of fuel and energy resources, energy saving, renewable energy sources and alternative fuels.
Will be establishing Decarbonization Fund.
Responsible for creating Biomethane registry with the support of DEU-UA energy partnership (dena).
