NGO “Energy Transition”

Joining forces with other organisation to increase energy efficiency and reaching the target of 100% use of renewable energy in Ukraine.

The umbrella organisation is conducting advocacy campaigns to reach 100% of renewable energy in Ukraine by energy transition, reduction of CO2 emissions.
The NGO also supports energy efficiency measures, clean energy and distributed energy.
NGO supported development of various analyses, including analysis and modelling of Ukrainian energy complex, including development of scenarios of the future of Ukrainian energy sector and development of the action plan to support energy efficiency and renewable energy, which can potentially reach the share of 91% by the year 2050.

The organisation forms a platform and unites such CSOs as Ekoltava, Ecoaction, 350.org, SDIA, Khmelnitskii Energy Cluster, Ecoclub

In June 2020, the organisation wrote a letter to the German Federal Ministry or Economic Affairs and Energy and urged the German government to make ambitious commitment to create comprehensive German-Ukrainian Energy Partnership to support green energy transition of Ukraine. The proposal to the German Federal Ministry or Economic Affairs and Energy covered cooperation on the topics of energy supply, energy efficiency and jut transition of coal regions.
