Ukrainian think tank involved in research and consultations in the energy sphere and on the crossroads of politics, public relations, security and investments.

Detailed information

DiXi Group is an analytical centre that conducts research in the energy sector and develops proposals and recommendations on the implementation of reforms according to European legislation. The NGO supports increasing transparency and accessibility of energy related information, improved governance, professional interaction and cooperation between the state power, business and the civil society.

DiXi Group participated in the following activities:

  • co-founded Energy Transparency Association, which promotes the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) standard in Ukraine
  • established an all-Ukrainian network encompassing over 28 NGOs, including the system of information and analytical support for the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry
  • developed and implemented a pilot study of the Energy Sector Transparency Index (ESTI)
  • created information and analytical resource (website), called Ukrainian Energy
  • prepared various analytical reports with recommendations in the fields of energy transformation, climate policy, sustainable development and green recovery financing
  • united experts of the leading think tanks and civil society organisations in the energy and environment industries into the Energy Reform coalition
  • actively engaged in the implementation of the European laws in the energy sector in Ukraine
  • advocated implementation of European reforms in the industry
  • created mobile application “Energy Online” in order increase transparency in the energy sector of Ukraine
  • developed the interactive map of energy sector
  • established Kyiv School of Energy Policy that functions as an independent centre of advanced training in the field of energy,contributing to the creation of a professional community of managers in the energy sector.
  • participated in development of the National Energy and Climate Plan (NECP) under the Low Carbon Ukraine project
  • carried out analytical activities and organised events to promote EU Green Deal policies in Ukraine

DiXi Group is also a member of the Ukrainian National Platform of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum, namely, its representative is a coordinator of the Energy Subgroup of the Working Group 3 “Environment, Climate Change and Energy Security”.
