Multi-Donor Fund for the Platform for Action on the Green Recovery of Ukraine

This multi-donor fund supports the recovery of Ukraine by focusing on cleaning up and protecting the environment. Through this initiative, a Platform for Action on the Green Recovery is built up, gathering information about the damage cause by the Russian war and promoting sustainable rebuilding practices. Additionally, the project actively contributes to the safe removal of hazardous materials. In cooperation with local and international partners, the fund develops green policies, improves public administration and supports eco-friendly projects. The Platform also aims at supporting a new financial constitution that will enable faster and more efficient use of resources by IFIs and donors. The project’s overarching goal is the protection of human health while boosting the Ukrainian economy and ensuring a greener future for the country. The methods and success of this fund could serve as a model for other countries with similar challenges, strengthening international cooperation and sustainable development worldwide.
