Multi-agency Donor Coordination Platform
Description
The Multi-agency Donor Coordination Platform for Ukraine was launched on the 26th of January 2023, with its inaugural Steering Committee meeting. It brings together high-level officials from Ukraine, the EU, G7 countries, as well as partners from international financial institutions, notably the European Investment Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank. The Platform’s Secretariat is in a Brussels office hosted by the Commission, and in a Kyiv office hosted by the Government of Ukraine.
The Multi-agency Donor Coordination Platform supports Ukraine by coordinating with the international community to address Ukraine’s most important and urgent needs, as well as reconstruction and recovery needs. Said needs, including the 2024 needs, are identified in the third Rapid Damage and Needs Assessment (RDNA3) report, prepared jointly by the World Bank, the Government of Ukraine, the European Commission and the United Nations. The Platform coordinates and facilitates the sharing of information among existing mechanisms, i.e. the G7 Finance Track, the G7+ Coordination Group on energy infrastructure and the International Financial Institutions (IFIs) Coordination Group.
