Multi-agency Donor Coordination Platform
Description
The Multi-agency Donor Coordination Platform supports Ukraine by coordinating with the international community to address Ukraine’s most important and urgent needs, as well as reconstruction and recovery needs. Said needs, including the 2024 needs, are identified in the third Rapid Damage and Needs Assessment (RDNA3) report, prepared jointly by the World Bank, the Government of Ukraine, the European Commission and the United Nations. The Platform coordinates and facilitates the sharing of information among existing mechanisms, i.e. the G7 Finance Track, the G7+ Coordination Group on energy infrastructure and the International Financial Institutions (IFIs) Coordination Group.
The platform has 3 tracks:
- G7 Finance Track – maintain Ukraine’s economic and financial stability
- G7+ Ukraine Energy Coordination Group – provide Ukraine the needed equipment and funding to repair and strengthen its electricity grid and provide backup power generation
- IFI Coordination Group – financing and economic assistance to Ukraine
Members of the platform:
- The permanent members and the members of the G7: Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom the United States and the European Union
- 5 temporary members: Denmark, the Republic of Korea, the Netherlands, Norway and Sweden
- 9 observers: Belgium, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Poland, Spain and Switzerland
