Activities of Heinrich Böll Foundation

The key focuses of the Climate Change and Energy Policy program are to promote ambitious policies to combat climate change and its consequences, support the environmental social movement, bring the issue of a just energy transition to renewable energy sources and women’s rights in the energy sector into the public discourse. In addition, the program aims to promote a green post-war recovery that would ensure Ukraine’s low-carbon development.

Among the main achievements of the program are the increased influence of civil society on decision-making in the field of environmental and climate protection, as well as the introduction of energy efficiency into the public discourse at the national level.
