Horizon Europe is the EU’s key funding programme for research and innovation.

All legal entities

• recognised as such under national law, EU law or international law
• which may, acting in its own name, exercise rights
•  is a subject to obligaitons

Affiliated entites

• if they are eligible for participation and funding

Associated partners

• subject to the specific conditions of the call/theme

Entites without legal personality

• if their representatives undertake legal oblifations on their behalf

Associations and interest groupings

• can participate as sole beneficiaries or beneficiaries without legal personality.
• However, if individual members implement the project, they must also be formally recognized as either beneficiaries or affiliated entities to ensure their costs are eligible for reimbursement

• projects are not aimed at making a profit
• projects do not receive funding from other grants to carry out their activities (no double funding rule)
• organisations that receive EU operational grants can apply if these grants do not cover the specific activities of their project
