Workshop on the Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM)

Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine together with the Ukrainian Climate Office under the Capacities for Climate Action (C4CA) project invites business representatives interested in the Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM) to join us during the online workshop dedicated to funding programs of the Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM). The JCM is a bilateral cooperation mechanism established by the Government of Japan in 2013, which will be officially launched in Ukraine, making it the twenty-ninth Partner country. A key aspect of the workshop would be to provide an in-depth understanding of the JCM funding programs, and to showcase successful JCM projects from other countries, offering concrete examples of how businesses can benefit. In addition, the event will include a Q&A session to clarify and gain a deeper understanding of the key aspects presented at the event.

The event is jointly organized by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine together with the Ukrainian Climate Office under the Capacities for Climate Action (C4CA) project, which is implemented by GIZ on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) within the framework of the International Climate Initiative (IKI) and co-financed by the European Union.
