Despite the ongoing war and significant infrastructure damage, Ukraine remains committed to global climate action, advancing climate policy, green recovery, and sustainable development.
The Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine is finalizing the scenarios for Ukraine’s next climate commitment under the Paris Agreement — the updated Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) to 2035. As part of the process and to ensure an open and inclusive dialogue with all stakeholders the public discussion of the draft NDC is held.

The event is organized at the initiative of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine with the support of the IKI Interface project and EU4ClimateResilience (co-founded by the European Union), implemented by GIZ  Ukraine on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy and the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Climate Action, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety within the framework of the International Climate Initiative (IKI).
