The Multi-Donor Action “EU4ClimateResilience”* invites Ukrainian municipalities to apply for a Call for Proposals to implement climate adaptation projects, which demonstrate the benefits of climate adaptation, including on healthy ecosystems and biodiversity with a focus on nature-based solutions and should also contribute to making national authorities more aware of, and responsive to, the advantages of stronger involvement of local authorities in policy domains that have a direct impact on them.
Who can apply? Cities or municipalities that are signatories of a
Covenant of Mayors East (CoM) and have at least submitted a SECAP. Applicants must apply for the Call for Proposals together with at least one, and maximum two co-applicants and have a non-profit status.
How to apply? The interested applicants shall submit their concept note in a compressed zip-folder to the email addresses: artem.sadomov@giz.de and anna.ivaneta@giz.de
The deadline for the submission of the concept note is Wednesday, 16 October 2024.
Please note that an information session on this Call for Proposals will be held online on the 10 October 2024 (the date is to be confirmed).
Questions may be sent by e-mail before 9th of October to the address(es) artem.sadomov@giz.de and anna.ivaneta@giz.de, indicating clearly the reference of the Call for Proposals. The contracting authority has no obligation to provide clarifications to questions received after this date. Replies will be given no later than 3 days before the deadline for submission of concept notes.
