Support of the national energy efficiency fund and of a climate-friendly reform agenda (S2I)

The project supports the Ukrainian Government in setting up the National Energy Efficiency Fund. Together, the partners are creating the necessary structures for handling investments and are developing strategies, human resources concepts and work programmes.

• Establishment of sustainable Ukraine’s state institution – Energy Efficiency Fund as well as promotion of the implementation of energy efficient measures in the residential sector
• Capacity development of the EEF staff as well as Ukraine’s universities and construction mar-ket service providers
• Development of competences and preparation of Ukraine’s construction market service pro-viders (energy auditors, project design documentation developers and other relevant technical experts)
• Providing recommendations to the EEF
• Facilitating the exchange of information within the International Climate Initiative (IKI)
